Also found a little piece of hose and was blowing into it trying to make some noise. Today I was trying to set the sprinkler on the corn...one of those pulsing sprinklers that are supposed to cover 85 feet ( I don't think it does quite that good) Anyways H. kept walking into the spray. You know how we did when we were kids. Walk into the water with our hands out until we could not stand it any more then turn and run out! One of these warmer days we will have to set up a little sprinkler for him to play in!
Planting time! All of us who have (or are trying to have, in my case) a green thumb are busy planting! On one of our old homesteads there was asparagus growing and so I decided to transplant it...........well............for anyone who knows what that is like you know what a job it can be! This clump here is only half of the whole clump! On top of asparagus we have strawberry plants on the way. As far as the garden goes we so far have carrots, beets, green beans, lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, peas, cantalope, cucumbers, radishes and corn up and coming along nicely. Hopefully our freezing nights are over! Good luck to all you 'gardeners' out there.

How fun!
wow--I was just actually wondering what asparagus roots looked like--amazing. My garden is growing nicely also--love this time of year.
Wowza...Holden is so big! What a darling little farmer boy...by the way, I love the new pix at the top, but tell Grant he forgot to disk first. Tee Hee!!
Your garden sounds awesome..mine has become prey to stupid birds that just peck everything right off! Grrr...Where is Dakota when I need him! Hugs....
Love the new pics! holden is talking lots- how fun is that! I am so jealous of your garden! Sounds amazing! I can't wait to get out of this apartment so that I can have one of my own! :) Andy and I just canned our first batch of pickled asparagus last weekend...not sure about it though! Next is applesauce! Andy's parents got us a pressure cooker last weekend-best present ever! Looking forward to canning lots of stuff this summer, too bad it's not from our own garden! :)
TTFN!
