What I Love About Our Kids!
- Today daddy went to get ice cream for dessert and BG said: 'Mmmm that be good.'
- Big Guy misses his little sister when she is napping. Usually when she gets up he cannot get close enough to her....to the point where she gets quite fed up with him! But she misses him too!
- This evening Daddy went out to check the fuel barrel. On his way back to the house he met Big Guy on his way to the fuel barrel. Without stopping Big Guy looked up at daddy and said "going to check the barrel" and kept right on walking!
- There have been many fun moments this summer with the kids and I have not been able to keep up on them! We have been so busy doing lots of fun things! The kids have been real troopers lately! Big Guy has a friend (about 6 mo. older than him) we have been spending time with this last week. He always asks where is M's house when we come into town!
- Little Lady has started saying Mom, And we are pretty sure she said bath tub the other day!! She is a little girl with a very BIG sense of humor!!
- At meal time when Daddy was gone BG (Big Guy) and LL (Little Lady) would have their own conversation. It went something like: LL: Da Da Da Dat BG: Da Da Da DAT.
- Daddy had to be gone for a couple days in the truck....I don't know if Big Guy could sense my loneliness or what but he climbed up on my chair, threw his arms around me and said mmmmm...hug. That's our boy we love so much!
- This morning, Daddy still being gone, Little Lady's giggles have sure brought joy to my heart.
- This cold morning Big Guy pulled back the covers, found a spot of skin and stuck his FREEZING fingers on it! I love his sense of humor (really I do.)
- everytime you tell them something is hot...they blow on it...to cool it off...yeah...even if they are standing on the other side of the room...or if it is something that is supposed to be hot...even if it is dinner...the dinner you are supposed to be serving for company!
- Every drop of ice cream must be licked up...off the table, off his shirt and he even tried to lick it off his pants! Not even a 2 year old can bend like that!
