Dad and mom came for a long weekend. Dad put in a new window for us!

Six Months Old!!!

Well here we are again...it has been too long since the last post but I am not very faithful with the picture taking! Here are some six month pictures. Not very professional but they were fun to take! We have been busy with millet harvest, although the weather has not been cooperating very well! Just as long as it doesn't freeze it will be alright.

The little farmers latest thing is to wrinkle up his nose and blow air in and out...lately it has come out as a snort! He has not yet started crawling but can get about anywhere he wants to go.

Going Mobile!

Holden has started getting around. I still have not quite figured out how he gets where he is going but in this pic. he started out where the blanket is and ended up there behind the chair!

Holden and I went up to Grandpa and Grandma B. again last weekend. Uncle Brian was going so we decided to hop in! Here Holden was having so much fun playing piano with Grandma.

This was Sunday morning bath time! Boy did we get the whole bathroom wet! We even had to dry out to drawers under the counter! Sorry Grandma (it was sure fun!)

This was a sunrise when we returned home. There was a fire somewhere, and the whole sky was full of smoke.

We have discoverd we have a little boy who loves corn! Once he got his hands on this cob he would not let go!

I do have to appologize the posting has not been very consistant this month. Holden and I have not been home for a full weekend this whole month! And we are off again today in another direction for the weekend! Then it will be time to take Holden's 6 month pictures!!!!! I cannot believe it has been almost six months already! Hope every one is doing great!

Reunion

Here is a picture of all the people who were able to attend the Family Reunion for Grant's Family. We celebrated the 100 year anninversary of the original homestead! Instead of having all the ladies slaving away in the kitchen we hired a chuckwagon crew to come in and cook! Boy did they know how to cook. All cooking was done over an open fire in dutch ovens. Probably the meal that went over the best were their flapjacks!!!

There were lots of things that kept us entertained! here are the tractor rides!

Uncle Roger is fixing this truck up. It was rolled a couple years ago and here the guys are putting the sides back on. A few days after we returned home they used it to haul wheat with!
