Havin' Fun

Late one evening, before Daddy got home, Big Guy was begging to go outside and play. It just so happened that we had several inches of snow and was VERY cold out. So as a compromise we brought a bowl of snow into the kitchen. They had great fun stirring, dishing up and eating the snow!

So....Mommy thinks a field of sunflowers "blowing" in the wind looks like they are all chuckling while Big Guy thinks they are crying! What do you think?

Miscellaneous

Snuggling on a cold morning.

We helped Daddy in the field a while back. Big Guy rode with Daddy in the combine and Little Lady rode with Mommy in the tractor. here she is getting ready to take a nap. Little Lady is growing up she has started saying words. Just thought I would post a list of what she is saying so far so here goes: ni night, Hi, mommy, all gone, more, ow, thank you, cracker, cheese, uh oh, whoa, no and don't.

We had our first real freeze the night before last and so prior to I picked all the strawberries we had left on our plants. This is what it amounted to!! The best harvest we have had off those plants all summer! We were able to make one batch of jam and have a little left over for smoothies.

It has been a long time since we have posted anything about our guineas This is a picture of what they look like now. Just a little bigger than a chicken and a lot noisier but we sure do enjoy watching them. They will chase the cats so we don't have to worry about them but we are minus one guinea due to our white lab. So she is no longer a 'free range' dog! But she does not seem to mind.

Visit from Auntie!!!

Finally getting around to posting some pictures! Sorry for such a delay!

Auntie K came to visit for a week. The kids are missing her now but they had fun when she was here! The last day she was here we went to the zoo. You can feed the ducks, peacocks and miniature donkeys.

We fed this friendly peacock and it decided to follow us half way through the zoo!

LL was not wanting to give up her 'food' to the peacocks or ducks so Auntie helped her.

What goes on around here...

One morning the kids seemed bored so I made this 'fort' for them. They sure had fun playing in and a round it!

This is not the best picture but it does give you an Idea of what the kiddos like to do sometime during each day! This just so happened to be morning so LL was finishing off her morning milk.

Daddy brought in a few sunflowers for us to see. Aren't They HUGE!!!?!??!??

LL is our comedian around here she is forever making us laugh! Even when she is being naughty (and knows it) She usually finds a way to make you laugh! Guess she already knows how to get out of trouble!! Watch out Daddy and Mommy!

Harvest Days!

We have a large harvest days festival type thing here and we went to it this year. The kids had fun climbing on the machinery and watching all the people (and machines) as they passed by. In these two pictures Daddy was talking to an old co-worker and so we decided to take a break on this blade.

One of our cold mornings here BG was wearing Mommy's robe! It was a little big but sure warm!! :)
