Growing up!!

Gracious he looks so grown up sitting next to daddy!

He sure is into watching Dad. Every chance he gets!

Now this is quite the story Holden is telling this doll!

I should have taken a picture of the doll because she really is quite cute
We laid Holden down on the bed and when he awoke there was this doll laying there so he began to tell her stories. There were some sad ones but mostly happy ones and she was such a good listener! But boy are we going to have to teach him some manners before we introduce him to too many people because it wasn't long into his story telling before he was relieving himself of the inner pressures!

Meeting the cousins! I think Savannah was a little more into Holden than he was into her!

Blankets!!

This blanket was made for us by the Lower Room (the younger kids)at the country school where Grant attended. The kids were learning how to tie knots so the teacher sewed the blanket to gether and the kids tied all the little strings onto the blanket.

The school has only grades K-8

Now in our 'great state' they are shutting down the country schools. Speaking from experience Grant recieved a much better education than I did! And our large school suposedly gave the best education in the state "that we lived in"!

It just so happened we were going to the play the kids were putting on so we dressed Holden in this outfit then at the intermission the kids presented to us this blanket.

Couldn't have been a better match!!

He has started checking out his hands!! Watch out mommy and daddy!

Mother's Day

For dessert we had homemade Ice Cream It was Wonderful!!

It has been brought to my attention that my year is wrong on the dates...

As far as I know I have to change that on my camera...

Am still looking for a way to take the date off the pictures once I get them onto the computer

But haven't found that yet:(

Moving Cows

One more blizzard and several warm days later...

... I finally get around to blogging again!

Now Holden has a story to tell!

Today Mommy and I went to help Daddy and Uncle move cows.

Uncle's dog Buddy sure knows what he is doing!

Grandpa's dog Nick is still learning!

Last time we moved cows Nick grabbed onto a cows tail and just hung on!

Boy did he go for a ride!

Guess he was tired of running:)

Calves

After moving cows we went to look at the calves.

These calves are the "real" color.

The color all our calves would be if...

the neighbor's bull would stay in his own pasture!

After we got home from our busy day I was making faces at mommy.

I was so tired I pulled the blanket up over my face

to try and go to sleep but my tummy reminded me...

...it is time to eat!

Blizzard!

We woke up to a blizzard this morning!!

So much for April showers bringing May flowers!

It must be April snows bring the May rose, Or something like that!
